My snack that turns out to be my meal of the day

It was so hot this morning and while working for a calendar project, I was thinking of a snack. Quite hungry and haven't had my breakfast yet, I decided to experiment on something in my kitchen- fresh pepino (cucumber for the rest of you).

I washed the pepino, cut it in half and sliced it to bite sizes. Usually, people cut them crosswise. Those were so usual and boring so I cut them lenghtwise and they looked like green frenchfries. I put them in a glass and added juice of two calamansi, a teaspoon of hot and spicy vinegar, a dash of salt and a pinch of sugar.

Voila! My snack (that became my meal for the day).
