Jealous man cuts off penis of lover in hotel room

MANILA, Philippines – Jealousy allegedly drove a man to cut off the penis of his male lover inside a hotel room in Novaliches, Quezon City, Tuesday.

Jose Feliciano Valderama, 35, of 222 Fern St., Barangay Fairview, Quezon City, and an area manager of a toy store is now in the custody of Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 4.

The victim, Marvic Manquera, 21, was rushed by hotel employees to a nearby hospital for treatment.

According to a QCPD Station 4 report, the pair checked into the Sogo Hotel in Novaliches several minutes after midnight.

While inside, the two had a few drinks before they went to bed. At around 3:30 a.m., hotel employees suddenly heard a man calling for help.

When they opened the door of the room where the cry for help came from, the hotel crew said they saw Manquera holding on to his bloodied groin.

The report said Valderama tried to kill himself with the knife he used on his victim, but the latter grabbed it from him.
Valderama also told the hotel employees that he had flushed down the penis in the toilet bowl.

During questioning, the suspect admitted that he decided to cut off his partner’s genitals after he heard stories about the victim’s relationship with another woman.
