I invaded Marketman's Kitchen

Would you believe me? I literally invaded Marketman's kitchen during the Market Manila Lechon Eyeball in Cebu just a few hours ago!

While bloggers, guests and some media people do the usual chitchats and hi-hellos, I found comfort in the kitchen, Marketman's kitchen! I wish I could get some pictures of myself while I assisted in the preparations. Anyways, here are some I took when nobody was minding me. More pics can be seen through this link.

Marketman himself doing the stuff we love. Why blurred pics? He doesn't want to be clearly seen hehehehe. Sorry sir, it was actually a bad hand but I am making your "invisibility" an excuse.

The not-so secret ingredients I found at the kitchen.

The reason why we have come and meet everyone...

And some other treats!

And of course the meal would not be complete without the desserts! dessertsss! dessertssssss!

The place? A good 5-minute walk from my apartment in East Capitol Site. And this was where Anthony Bourdain had a great time in Cebu!

And as if the Lechon Eyeball was not enough, Marketman gave each one of us Broas from Osang's of Baclayon, Bohol and Silvanas from Mrs U.

And a souvenir from Lee of Bacolod(?).

What a very good day! Thanks Marketman.

Edik, I was looking for you at the Lechon Eyeball. I sat next to Millet of Davao and we kept on looking around. In the end, we said, "Basin wa moabot." Didto ka diay sa kitchen.

hey Moni- I was there but hid myself in the kitchen. I have a problem dealing with new faces and the kitchen was a good excuse not to be seen. MM's staff already knew me from an activity before so I felt at home with them...

But I went out really and stayed near the ordered lechons which the group barely touched.

thanks for the pics Edik... not quite like being there in person pero pwede na rin... you're a bit shy pala preferring to stay in the kitchen rather than mingle.. good pics!

Ms Joan- i think you said Hi to me hehehe.

you're right. i can't really figure out who's who in the crowd except those who say a few words like you and Lee and Mrs MM.

ang dami kaya and the time is so short hehehe.

Kidpawan- i'm shy on the first meeting pero madaldal na thereafter.

Edik, usika ooi nga wa ka namo makita ni Millet. Didto ra ba sa end of the table nga duol sa food nanlingkod ang mga Bisaya.

Graphics designer ka ra ba and I'm a communication consultant. I hope we get to meet you next time. I have a niche blog, http://devcompage.com. My recent post is about "the making of a yin-yang logo" which is relevant to somebody with your expertise. Perhaps you can share a comment. Thanks for the pics that you uploaded.
